Once I cook chicken or beef, how long can I safely keep it in the
fridge till I finish the left overs? For example, I figure I can store leftover beef stew in the fridge safely up to four days. Is that true with cooked chicken? Does the type of cooking of the chicken (crock pot, pan fried or poaching) affect how long the cooked chicken remains safe to eat? If it matters, wrt the chicken, I buy and cook the skinless, boneless chicken breasts and can therefore choose how many to cook at one time. Thanks, John Howland |
