I use several electric roasters to cook everything from chili to pot
roasts to turkey(s). Be sure to keel a little water in th under the
liner. You can put it on a counter - I frequently have two going side
by side. Just keep 'em away from plastic bags, butter and other melty
type things. And don't leave the kitchen for long periods! This year I
will have four roasters going (and two ovens) for about five turkeys
and a BIG pile of stuffing. The turkeys will be unstuffed.
