Default Softshell Crab with squash 4/1/2016

Gee, the butternut squash thread just keeps going.

That's the roasted squash scooped out of the shell. No batter involved.

Yes, the crab came from the Club. All the local restaurants are serving
them ATM. I drove by the Foolish Frog on St. Helena and there was a
chalk sandwich sign out front: SOFT SHELL CRAB! Same thing at Gullah Grub.

OK, that one looks better. Is that tempura battered bn squash?
At least the bottom of that crab doesn't look so heavily
breaded.
