....when you give a dog a plastic Vitamix jar to clean up -- covered with
creamy soup smelling of chicken broth? *Crunch* I saw Wife give it to him and I didn't say anything, and I probably should have. The jar is still usable, but I don't know how you'd ever clean it properly with all the gnaw marks around the spout. Replacement jars are kind of expensive, unless you get just the jar w/o the blade and lid from a restaurant supply place. How hard is it to remove the blade assembly from the old jar and install it on a new one? Any tricks? (like silicone grease or teflon tape on the threads, etc) IIRC, there's a spanner nut on the bottom. Bob |
