Default smart phone app for lists

Does anyone use Google Keep to make their (grocery) lists? DD just
turned me on to it. I think I'm going to ditch Out of Milk. Keep
makes it very easy to share lists with another gmail user (don't know
how it works with others). If you have a newer android smart phone,
it's probably already in the extended apps - if not, it's available at
both the Google and iTunes Stores. https://www.google.com/keep/

It has a clear kinesthetic appeal, plus you don't have to wander around
staring a screen like the rest of the "smart" phone zombies.

Yes. I hate having to walk around with my phone out. I risk dropping it,
losing it or having it yanked out of my hand by a thief.

All valid concerns, plus there is some kind of magnetic distraction
field it sets up.

I see phone zombies literally transfixed, thumbs ablaze, blocking the
meat aisle or whatever - the entire universe condensed down to THEIR
little device, all the rest of us mere cyphers.

It creeps me out.

Me three.

I use a 4" x 6" spiral pad. I can squeeze three or four separate lists
on one page - I just cross out everything on the previous day's list
and start over. (I'm cheap about stuff like that.) The pad is always
sitting on my desk next to my computer.

It fits in a little pocket in my purse, so I can always find it when
I'm out.

I'm cheaper yet, I make up note pads from junk mail paper. I also use
the blank backs of junk mail paper to print crosswords. Most junk
mail is better paper than the ordinary reams I buy.

The way I do lists is to keep a list of everything I use, then delete
the stuff I don't plan on buying during my current trip.
Just print the shorter list

What I want is a shopping list app that I can input items by dictation. If I say "milk" or "pumpkin pie" it displays generic pictures of those items. I think that would be right handy.

And when that world-wide famine comes, at least you'll still have the

The good news is that I can load the app from Amazon for free. The bad news is that it's for the Amazon Fire Phone. The good news is that I have an Amazon Fire Phone. The bad news is that I don't ever use it! I'll dig up the phone and give it a go. Thanks.

That Talking Grocery Buddy sounds like a nice app. After all, it's your buddy!

He probably doesn't even realize Keep is already on his Android phone,
probably on his iPhone too and available for free at both stores. Of
course people who live alone can write their lists on the palm of
their hand.

I'll checkout Wunderlust when I get a chance, thanks.

OoM is one heck of a busy layout. Hate all those categories. I got
rid of them on the computer, but it didn't translate over to my phone
so I like the simplicity of the individual Keep lists. I only have
one so far - for generalized groceries right now. Each entry has a
check box next to it. When the box is checked, the entry is
automatically crossed out and moved to the bottom.
