Apple stuffing
I wanted to make an especially nice dinner for my wife today so I picked
up a couple of Cornish hens. They make a nice presentation. I made a stuffing that turned out to be rather tasty. Nothing measured but you can figure out what works for you. Chopped apple dried cherries crumbled Town House crackers Dried toasted onions Sauteed the above in butter then added a big glug of Cointreau Chicken stock to make it all moist. Along with the birds I made parslied potatoes and green beans and onions. |

IT is better to make your own caramelized onions, but I'm not about to do that at breakfast, thus the dehydrated. |
