Default Happy 80th, Ariane Batterberry! (Food & Wine)

Aka Ariane Ruskin Batterberry, she lives in NYC.

She and her husband, Michael Batterberry, founded Food & Wine Magazine in 1978 and Food Arts Magazine in 1986. (He died in 2010.)

A former dancer for the Marquis de Cuevas Ballet, Paris, France (1955), she was also a contributing editor from 1972 to 1973 for Harper's Bazaar.

"Contributor of articles to New York, Harper's Bazaar, Playbill, Ladies Home Journal, House Beautiful, and other magazines."

At least eight of her books are juveniles - especially the early ones.
