Tree looks good...I have two, both replacements for one lightning-struck monster,
and one which fell over in a rain-soaked season because the center trunk had
broken off in the wind when it was new, and rain then rotted out the inside.

Neither tree is yet old enough to bloom, but I think one of them will be ready next
year...7 to 10 years for the first blooms, says my expert source.

You should trim off the bottom two branches now, so more growth can go to the
top branches...but, you know that already. ;-)). I hope it thrives for you.

I would have guessed you would be too far north for tulip trees, since I am just on
the line between zones 4 and 5.

Nice. I picked my first tomato yesterday, but it wasn't
very photogenic. Had a small crack on the stem end, so
I was glad I got it before the bugs did.

It'll be a while before I have a second one. This one
was from the bloom that was on the plant when I bought it;
all of the others are still small and green.

The beans look good but I have to break the pointy ends off of them. I
just don't like them in my mouth.
I picked my first 3 tomatoes and 2 cucumbers yesterday. My beans will
be a long time coming. I was really lazy and didn't plant them until
the first of June.
