Which I guess is a good thing because it was a PITA to make. I pretty much
used Alton Brown's recipe but I used cilantro instead of basil. As some of the reviewers said, the basil didn't seem to make sense. I made it late last night and tasted it. I was hopeful because at that point, it tasted okay. I figured once the flavors had blended, it would get better. The problem? The flavors never blended. It was still just okay. The only good thing is that after sitting in the fridge, the cucumber flavor was less pronounced. I am just not big on cucumbers. Other than that, I like everything that goes into it. I guess I just don't like them blended and served cold as a soup. I guess I will be better off just eating raw, cut up veggies. Works for me! |
