I dunno, probably none!

I bought 3 very nice Anchor Hocking glass bowls with glass lids, one
of which I just started using recently to replace that old Pyrex glass
bown and glass lid for which I broke the lid, and I'm VERY happy with
it! Good heavy glass, and I have 2 as backups, so these may very well
be the last glass bowls with glass lids I ever have to buy!

And Anchor Hocking is made in the USA, so I sent NO money to China! HA
assholes! I'm spending MY money to support USA manufacturing, and
y'all are sending all USA jobs to China! ****ers!!

As for cheap China junk, they usually make what is specified by the US
buyer. They do make some junk, but they are also capable of making some
very high quality items. I don't blame the Chinese as much as the
greedy companies looking for the lowest price, not the best quality.

I agree. Unfortunately, with our middle class manufacturing jobs
moving off shore - the US is evolving into a stratified society that
is made of the very rich and the not quite dirt poor.

Getting worse all the time. Post WWII until at least the 1990's,
manufacturing and the skilled worker made this country great. WE are
demanding more and more low priced merchandise and companies are willing
to give it to use, regardless of the real cost. It is also before the
CEO was making 300X the worker.

I absolutely love my Emeril All Clad, and I also love the glass lids. Wherever they are
made, they are quality. And the All Clad warranty is in effect. I had to return one when
it was new because of a discoloration on the interior, and they sent a new one, no
problem, no questions. Mine has stainless inside and out, and cleans as though it
is non-stick.

That's the part that a lot of Americans can't get a handle on. You can
get whatever the hell you want made in China at whatever quality level
and whatever tech level you choose. The stuff I sell is sold to my by
European manufacturers and surprisingly, the products are made in China,
Malaysia, Singapore, and other places in Asia. They do not retail for
cheap either. As they say, pride always comes before the fall.

I have (was gifted) a 3 set of Martha Stewart cast iron pans. I
seasoned them but they do seem inferior to me vs the old CI pans.
Maybe this is why I never use them.

Kalma, I bought my Emerilware when I remodeled my kitchen, 2006-2007. I generally use one or
two pieces every day. I have had some really messy fry jobs in them, and they clean up really
well. They look like new.

I don't know and I don't understand the relevance.

There are different levels of All Clad products, all are good. Some are
better, at least under some uses.

Some do not have the cladding up the sides, only on the bottom. Some are
made in the US, some not. Some have different thicknesses of the heat
conductive layer, some have 5 layers, some have three.

There are probably more differences, All Clad keeps mum.

If the Emeril stuff works for you, it is fine by me. I doubt I would toss
it out myself. But there are differences.

ROFL!!! Years ago someone bought me a (what was that brand again? I
really don't care, but...) fancy assed sweater with a little alligator
logo on it, and I used a seam ripper to carefully remove that little
alligator advertising applique, and I loved safey pinning it to the
shittiest shirts I coulld find!! HA!!

It was a very nice sweater though. I eventually used it a lot when
working on my cars! ;-)

So of them many have cheap lines that are sold for very little at
places like Walmart, Target and Marshalls and free advertising is the
price shoppers pay for their cheap merchandise. You never get
something for virtually nothing. Retail merchandising operates by the
same axiom as the internet: If you're not paying for the product, YOU
are the product.
