New improved tip!

Instead of tearing yer full shts in half, fold 'em in half, first,
then tear the folded towel in half. Much better.

You can also get paper towels with perforations that give half a normal
sized sheet.

Yes, I know. But, sometimes the "half-sheets" are not available or
they run out during a reduced price sale. Plus, I don't like the
half-shts tearing prematurely when I want a full sheet, which is
almost as annoying as having to tear full-sized sheets.

I can believe that but I find that paper towels will tear where you want
if you grasp the sheet just under the perforation that you want.

I've never once in many years found them unavaialable.

Are you dyslexic... I've yet to have them tear other than where I
want... the trick is not to use a paper towel holder. And for many
uses I tear off a large stack in advance. I keep a roll in every room
of my house and a roll in every vehical, and rolls in my barns,
probably 50 rolls on a shelf in my basement right now... handiest
thing since sliced bread... I haven't bought tissues in many years.
Bounty half sheets make the best nose blowing snot rags, very soft yet
strong, I love that if they're left in a pocket they don't lint up
your entire wash... in fact if you let it dry it's still useable. Free
shipping on orders over $50:

Um, not a new improved tip, Bounty already sells rolls of half sheets
- Select-A-Size... in fact that's the only paper towel I buy. I fold
several into quarter size and keep a few in my pocket, much better
than tissues.
