Default ATTN: WinCo Shoppers


WinCo is selling standing rib roasts for $4.96/pound this year. Yeah,
yeah. it's almost certainly select. But it sure looks good with a nice
fat cap.
I only assume the price is the same through all WinCo stores.

Yes. It's an annual event. The ones I saw last week looked really
good.

Have you tried these? I have had mixed results with their meats. I was
thinking of going to Central Market where I will pay an arm and a leg but I
know that the meat is good.

I've had one every Christmas for the last 'mumble' years, lets say six.
I'm never disappointed with WinCo meats or WinCo in general. I should
shop there oftener. That'll be my New Year's Resolution!

Okay! Thanks. I do love Winco but the meat has been odd a few times as in
cut weirdly. I looked at a pic of that meat and I think it has too many
bones for my liking so I think I'll stick with Central Market for now.

Standing rib roast is "prime rib".
