That's an interesting concept....mix together first. I'll have to try
that. For PBJ sandwiches, I always put peanut butter on both bread
slices, then jam or preserves in the middle. Putting jam or preserves
on plain bread, it soaks in and is not so good to me.

When toasting the bread, I keep the two slices as open sandwiches.
Toast, peanut butter, then jam or preserves. Usually grape jam or
strawberry preserves.

I don't have that problem, maybe I use denser bread than you use or
maybe you're a slower eater than I am.

I don't know if it is still in production, but there used to be jars of
peanut butter with jelly swirled in so you get both with every spread.

I remember that! Never tried it, but I've seen it... don't remember
seeing it in a very long time thought.

Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold them.

Never saw the point of it. I want to control the proportions according
to my mood that morning. I don't see it spreading evenly, dependin on
how you scoop it out. Also, i use PB at times for other things and
don't want jelly mixed with it.

Same here, Ed. Often, I'll have a snack of toast with just peanut
butter. Sometimes I'll add a slice of swiss cheese. Don't always want
the jelly/jam/preserves on one.
