I just wish one of their stores was close enough to my home to make it convenient to shop there. As it is, the nearest TFM is about 50 miles away, darn it - oh well. At least I'm in that area on rare occasions, so I can splurge on products I'd not normally buy because they're not available at the 'usual' local grocery stores in my area. Er, I can get frozen shrimp locally, but the prices can vary greatly. In addition, customer service at TFM is very-much-more-than excellent and then some!! Since I get their email notices about sales items, I knew they had shrimp on sale for $6.99/lb last month on Saturdays. I happened to be in the vicinity of that TFM on a Wednesday or a Thursday a few weeks ago, so I spoke with the manager. He authorized the Saturday's sales price (instead of ~$11.99/lb, IIRC) after I explained that I lived 50+ miles away and just happened to be in town for the day; I purchased 4 pounds ![]() Sky |
