I also grew up with the Better Homes & Gardens New Cookbook. My mother gave me a copy circa 1972 when I got married. I ended up passing it on to my daughter when she got married, but I missed it, so she bought me a new copy, but the recipes in the newer edition were all different. I finally found a copy of my original one at a yard sale, for $2. Why anyone would put a classic cookbook like that in a yard sale is beyond me. Doris |
