I once opened a very old can of tomato paste. As soon as I pierced the
top it erupted and sprayed the contents everywhere. It was on the
ceiling, walls, counters, fridge, stove, dishwasher, drawers and the
cabinets.

I had a similar situation while tube feeding a cat. The tube got clogged
and sometimes pushing/pulling some water with a syringe through will
clear it, but this was a stubborn clog. When I thought it was clear, I
started with the food again, and all of the food plus the clog came
shooting out of the syringe I was using and it sprayed everywhere. This
was a mix of cat food, medication, water, and whatever else the vet had
me feed him through the tube.
