I do a mutton back chop stew with carrots, swede, turnip, onions and celery
and, although I am very pleased with it, I would just like to add some potatoes as an experiment. I use a slow cooker and it takes about seven hours to cook this meal. Then I add pearl barley and lentils to it and let them cook for a further twenty minutes. At what stage should I add the potatoes? |
