![]() After thawing frozen cheese (usually sharp cheddar) I find it crumbles when slicing, even if I take care. Any tricks anyone knows to avoid this problem? I nuke refrigerated eggs for 10 seconds before cooking. That's enough to take of most of the chill and seems to keep the yolks whole. This way you could take out only the number of slices you need. I'm not sure how this would work but it sounds like it would. Lucille |
