Did you angle the shelves backward slightly, or are you going to mount the rack with a slight backward tilt so that the jars can't walk off the shelves due to vibration, etc.? -- Larry |

But kind of small, no room for additional spices. And it really needs a door, light deteriorates spices. I'd have made it twice that size, and twice that depth. Make another one and attach it in front with hinges, and make a door. |

How easy is it to pluck or refile an item? Would a big truck rumbling by shake em out of the rack? I guess I'll stick with mine rolling around in a couple of drawers. |

They do slope a tiny bit, and this was made for a specific location, on a plaster wall that isn't perfectly vertical. The house is 88 years old. The bed frame in the guest room where were sleeping this winter is made from 2x4s. We've shut off our upstairs rooms because it costs a lot to heat them as cold as it's been. --B |
