Fresh Express Bagged Salad On Sale!
Now, at Publix. (No, I'm not going to buy it.) I'm quoting exactly
from the poorly written ad: Fresh Express Salad Blends Buy 1 get 1 Free Or Multi-pack, Kit, or 50/50 Mix, Assorted Varieties, An Array of Flavors, Mix or Match, 3.2 to 12 oz. bag. Save up to $4.09 Could it sound any more confusing? Good luck trying to get to the register with exactly the right item to save... well, up to $4.09. If you can figure out what the original price was in the first place, you can *maybe* get another one free. Jill |

Mark my words. Yep. And in the meantime they will get trucked up the country to the Washington area so we can read all about Julie Bove and her weird obsession and experiences with the bagged salads. Yay. |

Now that you mention it, maybe not for Thanksgiving. Or Christmas, either. Most every other night, salad was offered with dinner. (It was my job to tear the lettuce, even if I didn't eat salad.) Thanksgiving, Christmas...I know there were crudités and dip. Probably made with Lipton onion soup. I have a glass serving plate for that sort of thing somewhere around here. I'll never use it.
