Real men can eat anything they like, (even salads) wear pink shirts and talk about babies. It's the others who are insecure that that have a problem.

LOL! I saw a guy at the club yesterday wearing a pink izod shirt and
lavender shorts. I've no idea what he had for lunch.

Good point! (Then again, golfers often tend to dress oddly.)

About 10 years after my parents moved here, Mom told me a man who lives
up the street is ***. (She said it as if it couldn't possibly happen
here... you know what I mean.) Apparently he had a fight with his
boyfriend and the BF stormed out. Gee, Mom, gossip much?! LOLOL

I miss her every day! It was a hoot when she told me two of the wives
had been spending a lot of time with each other's husbands. Oh dear.
She made it sound like a regular Peyton Place.

Could be... I met a woman earlier this year who told me her husband
had an affair with a server at the club. She kicked him out. Do I
really need to know about this?

So he gets good use of the club, and gets rid of the house and the awful
assessment.

Not everyone wants chilis (or salsa) in or on everything.

The photos were more like sliders. I don't think it's something tert
cooked. Just a link.

LOL, well they sure look good. I don't really eat potatoes anymore even
though I do love them, so that's maybe why they look so good.

For sure, and another rule is: there will always be someone looking to take
exception to even the most innocent comment and try to turn it into an
argument.

Ah, okay. Apologies for not realizing you cooked them. But yes, I
tappd them as sliders right off. Sorry, I'm not a fan of sliders. I'm
sure they tasted just fine. But sliders makes me think of Krystal
burgers and White Castle. Tiny burgers on small buns.

So glad White Castle and those other nasty sliders are not part of my
life. I remember food at one high school dance was mini-everything...
mini-burgers, mini-hot dogs all in perfectly shaped mini-buns that
looked exactly like the full sized model, only smaller. They even
served mini-eclairs. I was one very impressed 15 year old.

okay, it's like this -- my wife bought slider buns, and I made sliders

also noteworthy is that I didn't say anything negative about her purchase
decisions

any other configuration of events is just too complicated to consider

they are just small cheeseburgers, for pete's sake ... there is no reason
to get all Sheldon over it

I didn't have a problem with the sliders you showed. If I made
mini-burgers, I'd make then the way your wife did because I have no
interest in making my own mini-hamburger buns. More power to her!

I was just reminiscing. Sorry. I didn't mean to disparage them, if
you thought that's what I did.
