Default Fruit pies on their own? (revisited)

Well, well. At today's Friday Food we had...you might have guessed it...hot
apple pies. But this time the person who brought them also brought double cream.
Most people (about two thirds) took some cream with their slice of pie,
including me. The pie was nice on its own, but it's a lot better with cream.
They go beautifully together. Just sayin'.

Sounds yummy! I like cream on apple dumplings, so it stands to reason
that it would be good on hot apple pie too.

Apple is not my favourite type of fruit pie, but I always liked it best
with cheddar cheese.

I bet those 3 month old pies are probably moldy by now. :-)
