Right on cue, the weather has gone cooler, and rain came through, which
will be good for the curry lunch I'm hosting tomorow for a whole bunch of war vets from my veterans association, and their wives. And they *love* their curries.... and mine in particular. So I've been roasting and grinding spices, chopping meat and chicken, and cooking the 4 different curries for the past week, and letting them rest and mature. The SO didn't mind, because she is now the official curry tester/taster for the house, as I can't have anything spicy. When it was suggested that they have a lunch with us before we move interstate, it started life as a BBQ, and then after several requests from participants, it's just turned into a curry-fest :-) With a stroganoff for the likes of me, and anyone who wants something not sooo spicy.. Now I have to go find the box I packed all my cake tins in, open it up and get a couple of them back out, to make a couple of cakes for dessert!! -- Peter Brisbane Australia Success isn't so difficult. Just bite off more than you can chew, then go do it. |
