I did know this but spaced out. Decided to add dried jalapenos to my pinto
bean stew. Eeeeyow! Hot, hot, hot! And I only added a few. I kept three servings out and will suffer through the last two. Good flavor but a tad too hot for me. I will thaw the rest in a week or so and add some rice to it, bell peppers and plain tomato sauce. Hopefully that will tone it down some. Anyway... The dried ones can be potent and they will take on more heat as they cook! |
