You should carry it with you when you are outdoors, especially when
using your tractor. Accidents happen and you live alone.

Most rural accidents/deaths are from tractor/ride-on accidents.

Says one who has already flipped his ride-on over and was pinned for a
few minutes, and who has learnt not to try and drag a tree trunk up a
slope :-)
