Default The Taste (Another cooking contest show)

For the Nigella fans, here's a cooking show for you on ABC. She's one
of the "mentors". I'm doing some work tonight but put it on in the
background. Not sure what I think of it yet, but I like cooking contest
shows.

OB cooking. I succumbed to my craving for macaroni salad, thank you
Julie. I made a small batch with whole grain penne pasta and
whatever veggies I had in the fridge plus some frozen thawed peas. Yum.

Oh crud. Why tonight? There are too danged many things on tonight that I
want to watch and they all seem to be on at the same time.

My dinner tonight is a bed of onions, sliced tomatoes and Romaine with two
hamburger patties on top. Two is probably a mistake. Always sounds good
when I am really hungry but I can never eat that much. Also some mashed
potatoes.

I turned over to the show about a half hour into it, to check it out,
and wasn't all that impressed, so got online instead. I probably didn't
give it a fair chance, but I watch so many cooking shows as it is. Do
you think you'll give it a second chance, Cheryl?
