These are Claussen Kosher Dill made with vinegar. From what I've been
reading it seems it is the vinegar that does the trick and would
probably work on its own, but I wanted to use up the left over juice and
this seems to be the answer to my cramp problem.

I mentioned this to my step daughter last night (the pickle juice thing).
She has a degree in nutrition and has been doing her internship lately. Not
quite sure (embarrassingly) what her eventual job title will be. Registered
dietician or nutritionist? I'll ask tomorrow.

Anyway, she had never heard of the pickle juice thing but she guessed that
it's probably the vinegar in it.

If so, I guess pickle juice would be a little easier to drink than plain
vinegar. I'm not sure I'd want to marinate my chicken in it but I try to
keep an open mind until I actually try something. ie: whenever I try
someone's recipe, I'll always make it as stated the first time. After that,
I often make a few changes.

To relieve cramping what all these gals need is a good screw, they'll
sleep better too.

It's a cruel, heartless person that would ridicule anyone who is in pain
and I would never wish it on another person, but should you suffer the
excruciating pain of cramps I most hardily hope you apply your remedy to
yourself.

That was a joke, Carol. Perhaps a cruel one but not intended to be.
I've had extreme cramps in the past too and it's no laughing matter.

HEY!!!!!! WAIT A MINUTE!~!!
I just backed this thread up and see that Sheldon said that, not me. You
just cropped the quotes wrong. I'm sure Sheldon was just kidding too
though...lighten up.

If you think Shelley was kidding because of that goatish laugh of his,
think again. He was tickled by the image in his mind, which bears no
resemblance whatever to Carol.

Sorry Gary, at 4:40 am (you're just getting up, I'm still wishing to
fall asleep) I do tend to use poor judgement and I was feeling mean
enough to bite someone. I guess it was Sheldon I wanted to go screw
himself.
