When a sundae is no longer a sundae

Today I inadvertently put too much whipped cream on some vanilla ice cream,
and broke the topping/ice cream barrier.

Of couse I immediately scooped out the excess whipped cream, restoring my
dessert to sundae status.

But what if I didn't? What happens when a sundae is no longer a sundae?

I did a little research, and found a few similar recipes, such as the 'Jim
Dandy' and the 'Ziggy Pig'.

Agreed... and one can always improve the situation by adding more
vanilla ice cream, a big dip of hot fudge, a scoop of walnuts, a
shower of chocolate ants, and two cherrys.

And whipped cream is full of air, so it always looks like there's more
there than there really is! ;-)

Have you ever watched a movie called "The Englishman Who Went Up a
Hill But Came Down a Mountain"?

Never, never on a Sunday, a Sunday, a Sunday for that's my day of
