With the Aussie $$ being so strong at the moment, it's a good time (for
us) to shop overseas.

Most of it was within a week :-)

Except for the Christmas stuff.

At the moment, I'm looking around (online) for a nice hotel in the city
for a couple of nights, as we are going to 'get away' and spend some
time and see some family members we don't get to see all that often, as
well as catch up with #1 and #2 daughters new boyfriends (and one set of
the parents). It started as just an "Oh, we'll come over and catch up
with you sometime", to now organising about 15 people for a 'catch up'
at our favourite pizza/pasta place with copious amounts of food and wine
to be consumed :-)

I'm taking all the wine for everyone to drink on the night.... we have
plenty here, and I can't drink it anymore, and the SO doesn't want to
drink it by herself :-)

Speaking of catching up...... I have a couple of friends who are going
to be touring Europe/France (mainly to follow the Tour de France....
I'll have to see if they are going anywhere near Italy :-)
