Default Fried Bake (float)

Prepare the quick and addictive “float” served with cheese, butter or “salt fish buljol” (see sauces/salads for “salt fish buljol”).

4 cups of flour
4 tsp. of baking powder
1 cup of cooking oil
1 1/2 tsp. of salt
2 cups of water

1. Mix salt, baking powder and flour and sift thoroughly.

2. Add water and mix until dough is soft.

3. Knead for 8-10 minutes and leave to rest for 30-40 minutes.

4. Cut pieces and roll to size of preference.

5. Heat oil and deep fry rolled dough balls until brown.
