Default Change from the market

I went to Safeway last night and picked up a few things. Paid for
everything with a $20 and got some change back. In the change was a
1936 Indian head (buffalo) nickle. Pretty cool!

That Safeway will do anything to draw customers to their high prices!

Probably gave you some more nickels and dimes
when you should have gotten quarters. Safeway
inconveniences customers that way just to eke out
a tiny fraction of a cent extra profit. By
withholding quarters, they can stock the registers
with fewer coins, which saves them the interest
on the saved coins. Safeway is perfectly willing
to inconvenience 1000 customers to save a penny.

Wow! That a good object lesson about why you should always be nice to
your elders.
