Default Supreme Court Ruling

This about sums it up.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Supreme Court rules no Nativity scene in DC

The Supreme Court has ruled that there cannot be a Nativity Scene in
the United States' Capital this Christmas season.

This isn't for any religious reason. They simply have not been able to
find Three Wise Men in the Nation's Capitol.

A search for a Virgin continues.

There was no problem, however, finding enough asses to fill the
stable.

Yeah, it was excellent about forty years ago, when I first heard it, too.

No such thing as a new joke.
Just an old one recycled
Jokes have got to be the greenest most recycled things in human history.

I had never heard that one before, but it had a distinctly old feel to
it when I read it.

Where is it written that a joke is only funny it it has never been heard
before? What degree of superiority is awarded someone who's heard it? Gimme
a break.

There's something in the telling of a joke or story in the delivery. Some
people could recite the zip code directory and make people laugh.
Sometimes, it's just the surprise element.

I tell this one every Christmas and love to tell it and laugh when I do. I
even stop strangers with red trucks in the parking lot at WalMart and tell
them. They laugh. Laughing is good for your blood pressure and your
attitude. If you haven't smiled lately, take this:

Why did the Three Wise Men drive red trucks?

They were coming from afar. Polly

You have a happy holiday season too!

Perhaps folks will like this better...

-=An Italian MaMa=-

Mrs. Ravioli comes to visit her son Anthony for dinner. He lives with
a female roommate, Maria.

During the course of the meal, his mother couldn't help but notice how
pretty Anthony's roommate is.

Over the course of the evening, while watching the two interact, she
started to wonder if there was more between Anthony and his roommate
than met the eye.

Reading his mom's thoughts, Anthony volunteered, "I know what you must
be thinking, but I assure you, Maria and I are just roommates.''

About a week later, Maria came to Anthony saying, "Ever since your
mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the silver sugar bowl.
You don't suppose she took it, do you?"

"Well, I doubt it, but I'll email her, just to be sure."
So he sat down and wrote an email:

Dear MaMa,
I'm not saying that you "did" take the sugar bowl from my house ; I'm
not saying that you "did not" take it.
But the fact remains that it has been missing ever since you were here
for dinner.

Your Loving Son
Anthony

Several days later, Anthony received a response email from his MaMa
which read:
Dear son,

I'm not saying that you "do" sleep with Maria, and I'm not saying that
you "do not" sleep with her.
But the fact remains that if she was sleeping in her OWN bed, she
would have found the sugar bowl by now.

Your Loving MaMa

Moral:
Never Bulla Shita you MaMa
