Default Wow!! GoogleGroups is WAY slow this AM!!

Glad I have Free Agent as my backup Usenet client!

I still like using GoogleGroups because it's just another of my
several "thingies" at the top of mt Firefox browser window. But when
GG is way slow like it is thia AM, I go to my backup! :-)

Do you have RFC confused with your Twitter account by any chance?

He uses whole words, so it's more like Facebook.

Thank you! I am not a Twit, and I don't use Twitter.

Hey Will! What am I supposed to do? Try each and every one of the
hundreds of different configuration options that don't appear from
their labels in the dialog boxes to have anything to do with what I'm
trying to set the configuration of? Like I said the configuration
button says "Variable-pitch Body". WTF is that? I didn't know, so I
asked.

Sorry, but I don't see his posts. He got plonked when he kept posting to
announce the running total of posts on an topic he thought was off
topic. I can only speculate that the application doesn't allow him to
keep a running total on the posts in a thread. Oh, the horror.

Amazing Bryan. You make one pertinent to the "conversation" comment,
and then a 3 paragraph monologue which has nothing at all to do with
anything but yourself!

:-)

And to correct you (again in all pertinence to the original subject)
anyone who posts to the Internet is an attention whore! Me, you, and
everyone else who posts here! The people not in need of attention
either lurk or don't come here at all.

I ate some just yesterday and still can't see the allure.

People who post to news groups are announcing their need for attention.

But then by one school of thought, everything everybody does is for the
sake of getting attention for it.
