Pure capsaicin: is it a controlled substance here in the States? If so,
anyone have a good cite/site? I seem to remember hearing it was (controlled) on one of the hot sauce shows but I'm doing a ****-poor job of proving it. I need the info for another forum I'm on. Thanks. -- -Jeff B. zoomie at fastmail dot fm |

You can get it at: http://www.sweatnspice.com/hot-sauce/blairs-6am.php Although I can't understand why you'd want to, especially at that price. I don't think capsaicin is a controlled substance, but you could check http://www.fda.gov to verify that. I think that label on that bottle of hot sauce was just a marketing gimmick though. |
