I'll play.

I think Conservatives stick to recipes and Liberals cook by taste and
are more experimental.

Most of us are moderates and fall somewhere in between.

None are better than the others... just different.

I'm pretty darn conservative, and I don't stick to recipes. I would think
conservatives are more logical and thus more thoughtful about the whole
cooking process. I think liberals stick to tofu and raw veggies.

Most of the best chefs I know are either apolitical or too dumb to know what
they are or why they are. But, they can sure cook.

I'd classify it all as food.

I'd call Alice Waters (Chez Panisse) a liberal but she's a good cook,
knows what she believes in and is very vocal about it. I won't go so far
as to say that I agree with everything she advocates :-)

Liberals make the best cooks.

Cooking is an art and most artisans are liberals. Conservatives count their
pennies and buy cheap tools so the foods will not be cooked to perfection.
Best restaurants are run by liberals as a single business owner.
Conservatives are the pro corporate types so they tend to choose food
chains in which foods are bland and mass produced. Liberals want to be
green and organic and their food choices will be healthier. Conservatives
reject global warming and anything organic. Conservatives do not mind
having high levels of pesticides and the use of artificial anything in
their foods. Liberals restaurants will be clean and spotless to make sure
they pass the food regulations with flying colors. Conservatives are
against any regulations and willing to eat in any cockroach filled
restaurants that has food beyond the expiration dates.

Marxists, because we know the secret to a good sauce...keep
"Conservatives", "Moderates" and "Liberals" out of the kitchen :-)

I'm assuming you are referring to classic liberals and
conservatives and not whatever passes for that nowadays...

Hmmm... Women are only known for their sweet deserts like themselves. Like
Paula Deen... Deserts. Martha Stewart... Cookies. Their bakers not cooks.
Grandma did make some excellent homemade donuts, that I will remember FOR
LIFE.

Men rules rules the grills and the real food! Women mastering the grill...
Pathetic!
Men probably do change jobs often in some restaurants but does not mean
that they are terrible cooks. Women in restaurants make excellent
waitresses especially if they great looking.

Liberal Men are also better cooks than Conservative Men. Conservative Men
just want simple uneducated women to stay barefoot and pregnant. Liberal
men will share equally in the kitchen

In my world the answer is NO.

I am not an artist, I consider myself a scientist in terms of my mindset.

I see the conservative minded as being "Concrete" minded dealing with the
physical. I see the liberal minded as being Abstract minded dealing with
things that cannot be felt by any of the human physical senses.

Art can represent things that are not in the real world, like Unicorns or a
God.
Science like minded also tend to be in the Abstract world also, like can
one sub dived space infinitely. Even the the concept of infinite is
abstract.

I favor the abstract art of numbers.

it seems to me that (at least the loudest) believers in god are
conservative.

but if you were any kind of kid at all, you know that such a battle plan
sometimes fails.

That's part of it for sure. Radicals on either side annoy me.
Moderates can pick and choose without being tied to a way of thinking
dictated by a party. We can also change our mind without fear of
being labeled a turncoat. I didn't vote for obama and was nauseated
when he brought Rahm Emanuel to Washington. The guy just gave me the
creeps. I don't live in Chicago city limits but much of what happens
there effects me. Now that Rahm is back in Chicago and is mayor I
have to say the guy rocks!! He's ****ing the parasites off but too
bad. There's talk his goal it to be president and I'd vote for him.
I'm allowed to change my mind as a moderate.

That's how I roll, too. You support one party , then everyhting the other does must surely be wrong. Crapola. BOTh parties are not self serving; but Biparty serving. We've been duped into thinking it's one way or the other.
I can't do that. Gotta pick the best of each meat/veggie. If I had to pick, I'd say Libertarian. Let it be.

I nthink a moderate can combine the best of both. The regimented way of the con and the originilaity if the lib. I can consistently serve bacon infused Mexican rice (with cilantro, slivered garlic, cheap mexican saffron, guajillo powder, achiote, turmeric and chicken stock) and Mexican moms will ask for the recipe. If they ask how I vote (they never do ) but I would say: I don't. The lesser of two evils is still an evil.

Both sides represent the divisiveness that brings us down. Third party would be the way to go; minus the Nazis. I don't see them advancing what i eat in any way.
