Once upon a time there was a Tennessee Klansman-***-paint-eater named
William Stoneman. In the mid-1990s he got involved with a primitive Internet
bulletin board system called Usenet. He didn't use his own name at first,
for fear that people would associate his occasional use of the N-word with
the person he is.

He made a fool of himself time and again, to the point where he ran away in
shame and changed his name. This pattern would go on for years and years;
his departure usually taking place after posting a noxious recipe for
macaroni salad with condensed milk.

Now his posts are utterly free of content, but always -- ALWAYS -- contain a
link to the blog for which he hopes to receive advertising revenue.
