Im not sexist but the average aussie soldier carrys about 30
Kilogrammes of gear on them. they also have to be able to run 5
kilometers in less then 20 minutes. Do you REALLY think an average
woman can do that? Also in hand to hand combat who would have a
realistic advantage? A male soldier, or a female ''soldier''? Also I
doubt that a frikken woman would be able to carry a wounded person
(AND probabley 10 kilgrammes of beuty products too boot! ;-)). The
primitive instinct of ''chivalry'' that men have will also cause them
to be distracted and more ''protective'' of female soldiers. This
effects the nations security directly- is some more stupid ''PC''
really worth sacraficing that?!?

I doubt that a fairy like, "peter lucas," would know anything about
sex.

Except sex with Mr. Hand, of course.

Please explain how there can ever be a scintilla of sensibility in
simultaneously posting a single item to a dating group, a road
transportation group, an aviation owners group, a cooking group, and
an Australian computing group.

Unless the owner of a Cessna 172 was looking for love whilst waiting
in line at VicRoads, and was so incensed by the clerk's charms that he
knocked over the cup of instant noodles he was preparing, dousing the
clerk's computer, rendering it inoperable.

Yeah, I guess it could happen...in the world of a Usenet kook.
