Default OT - Barbados, yeah or nay?

A friend wants me to go with her to look at some property available on
Barbados. Your thoughts, travel experiences appreciated.

Rent a place or book into a hotel - then you get to walk away from it
all, and no sweat during hurricane season.

You better know Barbados real estate law before you jump. Don't
blindly trust a lawyer. Make sure he/she is recommended as being
knowledgeable concerning Barbados real estate law. But best of all is
if you take a few months and learn the law yourself. This would be
hard to do, as I don't think that Barbados real estate law books would
be available at your library. Good luck.
