Yup! Been T2 for sixteen years now and my A1C normally reads at 6,
corresponds to about a 120 BG. I can live with that. I eat anything I
want - in moderation.

And how many years did it take the diabetes establishment to conclude
that after it was already painfully obvious? The glycemic index has
been around for 25+ years. The cardiac establishment was similarly
slow about hydrogenated oils.

Yup. How else would I have discovered that carrots are better than
parsnips (my FAVORITE veggie) and sweet potatoes better for me than
white potatoes???
