Default What should I add to the fried rice?

Usually when I fry rice I'll add some eggs and/or beans, peas and
onion.

What else mix well with fried rice? It should be easy to cook and
available in the average grocery stores.

Scallions, cubed and cooked seasoned pork, chicken, shrimp. Soybeans,
baby corn, snow peas and water chestnuts. The possibilities are colossal.

What,,,, no GARLIC?

Garnish with sliced cucumber & squeeze fresh lime over all.

Why not some finely sliced cerrano peppers?

I have no idea what _your_ average grocery has but I would use any of these
cut small:

ham or bacon
leftover roast
capsicum (sweet peppers)
brocolli
steamed lupchong (lapchong, lupcheong ........ )
cooked prawns (shrimps) or other seafood that doesn't disintegrate
fresh pineapple

Season by adding toasted sesame oil and crushed garlic to the frying oil and
a judicious sprinkle of light soy sauce at the end.

Doggone near whatever your heart desires. I used a brown rice base with
bacon, seasonings/herbs, a splash of hot sauce and a few veggies last
night. Don't ask which ones, just the ones I had on hand. Tomorrow will
be totally different.

I like to limit the added stuff to 3 or 4 or 5 different things. I
really like the garlic & ginger flavors in moderation. A tiny drop or
three of dark sesame oil is something different. What's best however is
eating bread and butter pickles with. Fabulous. Altho any
sweet/sour/salty pickle will do, just don't overpower overthing else.
The B&B pickles I can eat in bigger chunks!

In other words, for you fried rice is a justification for your eating your
garbage.
