Default EASTER EGGS

Easter's near, and I was on a nostalgia trip.

Remember those fist-sized eggs,
cocoanut-cream filled, chocolate covered......
You could get a three-day "sugar high" from one slice.

I visited several stores in town,
( including Target, KMART, WallyWorld, etc )
Lots of marshmallow peeps, M&Ms, Hershey Kisses...
but no cream-filled chocolate Easter Eggs.

It's hard to believe they've gone out of style.
Maybe it's just an Arizona thing ????

Go to a specialty chocolate shop or a Hallmark store.

Or also go to many Microsoft programs that are massively inflated with
pictures of the programmers and quotes. These things are called "Easter
Eggs" and can be seen by giving normally undocumented commands.

They're not Microsoft-specific. That's just you.

(forgot to add, most stores that do not make their own chocolate will be
sold out of the large specialty pieces by now.)

I know what you are talking about. I think they are Russell Stovers?

I've not perused the Easter candy this year. I'm sticking to my low
carbing for the most part.

We have our usual assortment: Peeps (the sugar coating isn't very
crunchy this year), malted 'robin's eggs', assorted chocolates and the
ever-popular exploded* chocolate-covered marshmallow eggs.

Making hot cross buns tomorrow cos I forgot to set the dough up today

*The marshmallow eggs are packed at sea level. When transported to this
much higher altitude, the marshmallow expands/explodes. The chocolate
coating is cracked, exposing the marshmallow :O
