It like this. We'd had a *huge* weekend and on the way back home, stopped
off at an electrical store to pick up (and pay for) a VCR/DVD recorder
combo for a mate of mine that's house bound at the moment.

I said to the SO, "Come in with me, you know what I'm like when I go into
these sort of places!!"

She said "No, I'm tired and hot, I'll stay in the car."

Ok, so I go in the shop and get my mates DVD/VCR combo, and happen to spy
one of these.........

10 mins later one of the male shop assistants helped me carry both out to
the car.

As we walked out the door, he says "Which car?"

I said "The one over there with the woman giving us a filthy look" :-)


As I walked towards the car I said "Hey!! I told you to come in with me,
didn't I?" ;-)


So now, all I have to do is organise a 'gathering, fill me beer mate up,
and see how it goes :-)
