Did anyone happen to catch this program, thus seeing if this woman is
truly obese?

Considering that the majority people in this country are overweigh, I
couldn't understand them firing someone who was just "fat."

OTOH, at the Kealakekua McDonald's in Hawaii, the two owners or managers
or whatever - who were often behind the counter - were downright obese!
Just one look at them was enough to make me rethink what I was ordering,
lol!

(Don't flame me - I do NOT eat at McD's with any regularlity. I was
going through a tough time financially, and they have a dollar menu!

What is this "team" stuff? . Is it better to be a "team member", or an
"associate"?

Why don't they knock off the stupid titles and give them a decent wage
instead of a smarmy title? I guess I should ask the folks in the Personnel
Department. Oh, that has been replaced by Human Resources. I'd rather be a
PERSONnel than a resource. That sounds like something they dug up in a
mine.

Why is it that whenever I hear a call to boycott some restaurant
chain, I already am boycotting the chain simply because the food
there is lousy? A friend of mine lives near a Ruby Tuesday. She
likes to eat there so I do on rare occasion. In the five or six
times I have eaten at Ruby Tuesdays, I have been disappointed in
the food, the service, and the atmosphere.

The story says she was fired because her uniform wouldn't fit. So why doesn't
she apply for work at Hooters? They don't care whether your uniform fits?

The first time I was in a Ruby Tuesday's the waiter dropped an entire
crock of boiling hot French onion soup on my sister. She was rather
badly burned, and the manager almost went wild when he saw that I was
wearing a sweatshirt from my law school! Not only was lunch for the 3
of us "on the house", he gave my sister cash to pay for drycleaning,
and his card in case there were medical bills. Interesting day at the
mall . . .
