Thank you, Dollink. Sheldon, you know where to send the check.
(Where'd you get the pooch?)

And is new puppy going to kibosh your trip to New York?

Join the club... :-P

We had one cat we adored that we treated for breast cancer...
3 surgeries, 8 mastectomies, and the cancer still spread to her lungs.
She died in mom's arms one morning while giving her her theophylline to
help her breathing. ;-(

The next cat that got breast cancer got left alone. She lived about as
long and her death was easier.....

Many years ago (1979) I was working at a hotel here in Chicago. I'm in the
back office and hear a screaming commotion . I go out to the front desk to
check the sitch out...

Some witchity gal was DEMANDING a meeting room, she had just walked in off
the street. We were full and no meeting rooms were available (there was a
convention or something). The new hire desk clerk was on the verge of
tears. She kept nicely explaining that we simply didn't have any meeting
rooms available and that one didn't book meeting rooms with the front desk,
you had to go upstairs to the sales office to do so...

She finally STALKED out the door in a huff - somebody turned to me and said
"THAT is Phyllis Schafley!". I was not surprised that she was a Grade - A
c**t...she was even mean to one of her biographers...

BTW the nicest celebs I met whilst at the hotel were Christopher Reeve and
Cab Calloway (both real gentlemen, just as nice as could be, Cab signed one
of his records for me and Mr. Reeve sent flowers to the front desk staff
every day plus which he tipped us all nicely when he left [he was making
_Somewhere In Time_ and the production company did a lot of work in
Chicago])...and David Letterman's bandleader Paul Schaeffer (he was working
in the _Blues Brothers_ movie of which production company we housed for
almost a year) was the second - biggest c**t after Mizz Eagle Forum. That
two - bit queen was one nasty little number. We had quite a laugh when some
*** male street hooker he picked up cleaned out his valuables when he was
drunk one night. Miss Thang was a little more civil after that, *lol*...

Sean Penn was a PITA in the azz, too, and it was only 1982...

Ask about Prednisone! It's inexpensive and it works
wonders. It gave my dog with lymph cancer a full year of
excellent life. When her time came, it was obvious and I
didn't prolong it... the vet was WONDERFUL, he (almost) wept
along with us.

When you think about it from a female perspective, I say
it's no wonder she was mad! Sleeping with her brother is
worse than sleeping with her sister because there was
NOTHING she could do to counter... PLUS, she probably also
found out for the first time that her brother was *** or bi
and that's a double whallop (a 1, 2 punch) straight to the
chops.

I know heteros who didn't marry until they were in their
40s. Why did you choose not to wait?

Do I feel :) or :\ ?

Brother/sister... it's still a bad situation. If you're
going to do it, at least do it with someone outside the
family, ferchristsake!

Perspective, you say? I just read this entry to the Bulwer-Lytton Contest:

"In these uncertain times, one must think of others' viewpoints and always
remember that a crowded elevator smells different to a midget."
