I know what HP Steak Sauce is--I have bought it, and find it very similar to A1
Sauce. I have read here of people searching for HP Brown Sauce. Is that
something different from Steak Sauce? Is it actually labelled "Brown Sauce"?
Ugh! Just wondering.

I believe that Brown Sauce is another name for Demi Glace.
