I think Bush's mannerisms were a signal to his supporters, indicating
how they should react to Kerry's delivery, including if needed, go on
the bathroom. The smug smiling demeanor is how I often look after a
successful whiz. We must remember that much of Rove's political
tactics are Pavlovian.
