The only thing I use it on is scrambled eggs or in cooked dried beans or in bean soup. It's not a heat thing either since I like jalapenos and cayenne pepper. I simply don't like the taste of black pepper all that much. |

Well, it's not a new, weird idea anyway. According to the British Museum, at
least. I had a copy of "the British Museum cookbook" and it claims the Romans used to use pepper a lot on all sorts of fruit.
