Now this place serves a *burger*!
I've stopped at this place a few times while traveling through PA.
I've never tried one of their larger burgers but I saw one guy try to finish the three pounder (unsuccessfully) but never saw anyone try and tackle the six'er. http://www.dennysbeerbarrelpub.com/menus.htm -- Steve Why don't they make mouse flavored cat food? |

Three hour time limit? They're making it too easy. Speaking as one who just this Saturday had a 72-oz steak in well under an hour, 6 lbs in 3 hours sounds like no problemo. OTOH, it's all immaterial if the quality of the beef is subpar, or if the bun is a worthless commercial product. There's not much point in eating that much if the quality isn't there. The price makes me pretty suspicious of the quality... -- Alex Rast (remove d., .7, not, and .NOSPAM to reply) |

The "rolls" are made on site so I'd "assume" that they're pretty good as well. Oh, and I think before they're done the 6 pound burger weighs in at about 9 pounds total and the "rules" are, to get it free you must eat it all. -- Steve Love may be blind but marriage is a real eye-opener. |
