Guess I must since I wrote it. Some thrift shops wash all their stuff and some
don't. How much experience do YOU have sorting bags of CRAP that people donate
to thrift shops? I have a lot and I also see young kids who come in and who
probably don't have the sense of a cockroach when it comes to cleanliness. We
get pots and pans in a bag with with dirty diapers. Sad, but true...so, yes, I
think a reminder is in order. Sorry if I offended.

Move in and start cooking. You'll find out soon enough which things
you occastionally *wish* you had, and which extra ones you really
*need*.

Why a steamer? Or rather, what sort of steamer? For veg, I just have
one of those folding widgets you put in the bottom of any ol' pot with
a lid.
