Default Life In The Northwest

BlankThe logging industry has been, an important contributer to the
economic growth of this region. The old timers were pretty tough guys and
hearty eaters. Here is a description in part of one of these as copied from
an old song:

Frozen Logger
I see that you are a logger, and not just a common bum
For no one but a logger stirs his coffee with his thumb.

My lover was a logger, there's none like him today.
If you'd pour whiskey on it, he'd eat a bale of hay.

He never shaved the whiskers from off his horny hide
..He just dove them in with a hammer and bit them off inside.

There are seven more verses but you get the idea
